This is one of my favorite places to swim and spend time, its absolutely mesmerizing, especially during sunrise and sunset. There's sand-dunes nearby, to bring out the inner child, you can slide down on cardboard boxes or boogie boards, it's especially fun for kids. There's no amenities or cafes nearby, but its worth spending time at. For swimming, its definitely best to do at the southern-end of One Mile, which is patrolled by lifeguards during summer, up the northern side and at Samurai, there is persistent rips, so don't bother going there, especially if there kids with you. Its just not worth it.
